Syngenta launches new foliar spray insecticide for Pakistan’s rice farmers

Siddiqi

Syngenta Pakistan has officially launched Incipio 200 SC, a next-generation foliar spray insecticide powered by cutting-edge Plinazolin® technology, at a high-profile event in Daska. Themed “Incipio Barhaye Pakistan Ka Khazana”, the event brought together agricultural leaders, media, and local rice growers to mark the arrival of a globally recognized crop protection solution in Pakistan.

Proven effective across rice-growing regions worldwide, Incipio 200 SC offers targeted control against Rice Stem Borer and Leaf Folder—two of the most damaging pests in rice cultivation. The product’s advanced formulation shifts away from traditional granular methods, embracing a foliar application approach that enhances precision, performance, and environmental responsibility.

As rice remains a cornerstone of Pakistan’s agricultural exports and rural livelihoods, the introduction of Incipio 200 SC supports Syngenta’s mission to boost crop productivity, minimize losses, and empower farmers with reliable, science-backed solutions.

“With Incipio 200 SC, we’re not just offering a product — we’re delivering global innovation tailored for local success,” said Zeeshan Hasib Baig, Country Head, Syngenta Pakistan. Speakers also included the company’s Head of Marketing and Product Manager, who highlighted extensive R&D behind the product and shared farmer trial feedback indicating improved yields and ease of use.

The event featured media interaction, live testimonials, and a branded unveiling moment, reinforcing the campaign message and commitment to sustainable agriculture.
