Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that Pakistan’s rice industry plays a pivotal role in the national economy.Addressing the 17th Export Trophy Awards ceremony organized by the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan in Lahore, he paid tribute to the services of farmers and exporters, particularly those involved in rice cultivation and trade. Chairman Senate emphasized that we need to maintain the global reputation through modern farming practices, greater investment in research and the development of climate-resilient rice varieties.
