For farmers and rice mills to receive fuel to operate farming machinery, the Myanmar Rice Federation discussed during its annual general meeting held remotely on 25 March.
The meeting highlighted MRF projects implemented in 2025, discussions on 15 ongoing action plans, for providing necessary fuels for paddy harvesting and operation of rice mills, about internal and external rice market potentials, machinery import for rice mills, implementation of rice export zone and data compilation of rice mills.
In addition, a vacancy for the general secretary position, a short-term loan for export items, plans and amending the MRF constitution were also covered.
The MRF president, vice-presidents, central executive members and members joined the virtual meeting. — MT/ZS
