HANOI: Vietnam exported 344,000 metric tons of rice in October, down 56.2% from the same month of last year, government data showed on Thursday.
Rice export revenues in the month fell 64.8% from a year earlier to $177 million, the National Statistics Office said in a report.
For the January-October period, rice exports fell 7.5% from a year earlier to 7.2 million tons, with a value of $3.7 billion, it said.
