Vietnam December rice exports down 18% y/y at 479,000 tons

Hanoi, Jan 5 (Reuters) – Vietnam’s rice exports in December 2025 fell 17.9% from a year earlier to 479,000 tons, government data showed on Monday.

The country’s rice shipments in 2025 fell 11.3% from 2024 to 8 million tons, the National statistics office said in a report.
