According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, Vietnam exported more than 7.1 million tons of rice, worth 4 billion dollars, during the cited period, up 35 percent in value and 17 percent in volume year on year.

Vietnam’s rice exports in 2023 are expected to hit 8 million tons, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
