In the current situation, due to the decline in international demand and the decline in domestic demand, farmers who grow unripe rice in the rice market are concerned about the decline in prices and the difficulty in selling. The Myanmar Rice Federation will coordinate with export companies and member rice mills to purchase 1.5 million bushels of unripe rice and 4 million bags of unripe rice in April and May, 2025.
