A LOCAL brand has become the first in the country to introduce rice specially crafted for Korean dishes.

With K-pop and Korean culture continuing to captivate Malaysians, Jasmine Food Corporation launched Jasmine Oppa Rice which delivered the true taste of Korea.

Its soft, fluffy and slightly chewy texture perfectly complemented Korean favourites like bibimbap, kimchi fried rice and kimbap.

Locally packed and quality assured, it brings both authenticity and convenience to Malaysians who wanted to enjoy Korean meals at home.

“Malaysians have embraced the Korean wave in so many ways and food is a big part of that connection,” said Jasmine Food Corporation chief operating officer Alan Kwong.

“With Jasmine Oppa Rice, we’re giving Malaysians a chance to enjoy the real Korean dining experience in the comfort of their home,” he added.

The launch held at a mall in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, was attended by distinguished guests, business partners, influencers and the media.

They were treated to a showcase of Korean-inspired dishes and a special screening of G-Dragon in Cinema: Ubermensch.

Jasmine Oppa Rice is available at major supermarkets and grocery stores nationwide.
