The Cambodian Rice Federation (CRF) is showcasing the Kingdom’s rice and rice‑based processed products at the international food exhibition SIAL Paris 2026 in Paris, France, from Saturday to Wednesday, aiming to promote national rice quality and expand export opportunities in global markets.

CRF President Lay Chhun Hour led the national delegation, including 12 rice‑exporting companies presenting their products to international buyers, suppliers and industry professionals. The exhibition serves as a major platform for food industry networking and business cooperation.

This marks the federation’s third participation in SIAL Paris, following appearances in 2014 and 2024. The event provides the Kingdom’s exporters with opportunities to build business partnerships, strengthen connections with international buyers and explore market demand, particularly in Europe.

The Cambodian pavilion was officially inaugurated under the presidency of Ministry of Commerce (MoC) Secretary of State Somheng Bora, alongside Delegate of the Royal Government of Cambodia in charge of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB) Kao Thach, with Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Undersecretary of State Ky Chanrumdoul.

Representatives of the Cambodian Embassy in France, Khmer Enterprise and international guests also attended.

The participation is supported by MoC, the ARDB and Khmer Enterprise under the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation.

The 12 participating exporters represent the Kingdom’s efforts to strengthen international recognition of its rice products, promote brand visibility and explore new export markets.

The CRF pavilion is located at Booth C006 in Hall 8, where visitors and potential business partners can learn about Cambodian rice products and discuss future commercial cooperation.
