Import of Indian rice to Kyrgyzstan increases by 2.5 times in January
AKIPRESS.COM – The import of Indian rice to Kyrgyzstan increased by 2.5 times in January 2025 compared to January 2024, according the National Statistics Committee.
413.1 tons of rice were imported from India in January.
The volume of imports in value terms increased by 2.7 times to $305,100.
Indian rice accounted for 45% of the import of this product at the end of January.
In addition, supplies from Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Russia, and the USA were noted.
