Vietnam rice exports in July down 4.4% y/y at 630,000 T – statistics office
HANOI, July 29 (Reuters) -Vietnam exported 630,000 metric tons of rice in July, down 4.4% from the same month a year earlier, government data released on Monday showed.
For the January-July period, the country exported 5.2 million tons of rice, up 25% from the previous year. Rice export revenue over the seven-month period rose 25% to $3.27 billion, the General Statistics Office said in its report.
