President Dr. Arif Alvi has lauded services of REAP for humanity and rice sector. The President said this while presenting Gold Medal to Mr. & Mrs. Abdul Rahim Janoo on the occasion of REAP’s 23rd Biryani Festival at President House here.

Dr. Arif Alvi applauded charity services of Mrs. Rashida Rahim Janoo and presented her gold medal and requested audience to follow her and First Lady Madam Samina Alvi to bring happiness to less privileged people of Pakistan. He lauded services of Mrs Rahim Janoo for contributing 50% in trusts charity services.

Secondly, role and services of Abdul Rahim Janoo for growth of rice export sector from US$ 300 Million to US$ 3 Billion is exceptional. Such a remarkable growth has never seen in any other commodity in the history of Pakistan.

Gold medals were also presented to Ex Chairman REAP Shehzad Ali Malik and young social activist Jatin Chelaram Kewlani

H.E. President also advised REAP members to adhere on value addition. He also assured his services to get amount from EDF fund for REAP for building REAP houses as well as hard work in R&D. He congratulated REAP for getting back sealed REAP office and assured that REAP will utilise this office for R&D and establishment of most modern library for benefit of REAP members and subsequently it will be helpful in increasing rice exports.
